Some Theological Thoughts for your Consideration
In the Bible it is written that God exists, 'I AM'. God is Spirit.
If you seek him he can be found.
Those who come to him must believe that he IS and that she is the reward of those who seek him.
Christianity - It's just a thought!
What makes a religion? What makes one person different from another? We are all born into this world. We have existence. We then all have different bodies, experiences, moods, emotions, locations. Everything is different except just being human, humans with being, living souls.
Christianity claims that all are from God.
Acts 17 :25b …he (God) himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
Do all think of God the same way? Obviously not as there are atheists, Christians (Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, ect), Jews, Muslims and there are many more ideas or concepts of God. Do all our differences keep us from searching for knowledge of God? No, but some may think so. Do all our differences keep God from us?
Christianity says that our differences prompt us to look for God and to find him right where we exist.
Acts 17:27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28 'For in him we live and move and have our being.'
And in case you missed it he repeats the idea that it is God who is the source of life, not we ourselves,
Acts 17:28b As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.' 29 "Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man's design and skill.
Christianity is not exclusive when it is said you must think a particular way, it is inclusive because it describes the universal concepts of how God relates to all people. Some may choose to ignore these ideas, some may not be able to effectively convey these ideas to others, but these ideas are written for all who have access to read and learn. And after we learn that ‘our’ way is not the way and that all humanity is in the same condition, what should we do?
Acts 17:30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead."
Praise to God who put all on the same level of relationship to him through Jesus Christ. Praise God that his way is not our way. But our way can be his way as we continuously pray 'Our Father, Thy Will Be Done".
